What is a Check-Out Report?

A check-out report is a detailed written and photographic record of a rental property's condition at the end of a tenancy. It works directly in comparison with the original inventory report — every room, every item, every surface is assessed against what was recorded at the start of the tenancy.
Our AIIC-accredited clerk visits the property on or as close to the last day of tenancy as possible. Every room is inspected and photographed, meter readings are recorded, and all keys are documented on return.
